JANUARY socks is a toe up stranded colour work pattern with a bit of a texture element using fingering weight yarn with an afterthought heel.

I would recommend to knit to fit (no negative ease) and even consider to go with size of the knitting needles bigger.

Gauge: 32 sts x 40 rnds = 4 inch / 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch (8 sts per inch) with US 1 - 2.25 mm circular needles or needles to obtain the gauge
