This pattern was inspired by the many beautiful shades of yarn that i have left over from other projects that are far too good to waste. The body is knitted in one part to the armholes, where the sleeves (knitted in rows) are joined to form a yoke that is knitted on a long circular needle. There is no carrying of yarns as the pattern never bridges more than 3 stitches, and there are fewer end to sew in at the ends as most of the yarns can be carried upwards at the end of the rows. I used DK yarns of the same gauge but different brands. The written instructions are given for approximate ages 1 to 10 and include charts.
