Take a break from counting stitches! My friend, Jeneen, has developed an inventive method of knitting beautiful scarves with a lovely accent ruffle along one edge. One of my favorite parts of her design is that you don’t have to count your stitches - AT ALL! She uses an ingenious method to determine each scarf length. This is a fantastic way of knitting one-of-a-kind accent pieces, as well as scarves to keep you toasty warm this winter. Three lengths are described in the pattern.
The version shown here was knit double stranded. You can use a single strand of novelty yarn and a worsted weight as well.
After you explore this exciting way to knit the most wonderful scarves, you’ll want to make several just in time for the holidays. These make great gifts!
You’ll know why I call her “Ingenious Jeneen”. Enjoy!
