The Jousi-socks are a part of a larger Jousi Collection including icelandic-inspired yoke sweaters. The socks were a much requested accessory for the sweater series. See more at www.sinihoo.fi

The sock is knitted cuff down in the round. The pattern includes two sizes for calf circumference, the smaller one at around 32 cm and the larger measuring 38 cm around the calf. The foot size in both fits a EU39 but for an intermediate knitter it is easily modified to accomodate a few sizes smaller or larger.

The colourwork can be knitted in 3 or 2 colours. The pattern calls for around 100(150)g of Aran weight sock yarn in the main colour (white in example pictures) and approx. 50g each of the complimenting colours.

Jousi-sarja saa jatkoa toiveohjeen muodossa: Jousi sukat!

Neulo Jousi-kaarrokeneuleen kaveriksi saman sarjan villasukat tai nauti lehtimäisten kuvioiden viettelystä muuten vaan.

Yksinkertaiset Jousi-sukat neulotaan ylhäältä alas, eli varresta kohti varpaita. Materiaaliksi käy esimerkiksi Novitan 7 Veljestä, perinteinen sukkalanka tai muu ominaisuuksiltaan vastaava lanka. Ohjeella neulot n. 39 kokoiset sukat ja pohkeenympäryksille on kaksi vaihtoehtoa, 32 tai 38 cm.

Menekki n: Pääväri (kuvassa valk) n.100(150)g, kuviovärit n. 50g per väri.
