(1) crochet pattern for the Joy Pillow. Made with really soft “I Love This Yarn” brand yarn, this beautiful farmhouse style pillow features the green and black check with “joy” lettering and the Christmas star. Wonderful reminder of what our Saviour has done for us.

This pillow was made using the “intarsia” method, which is just a fancy word for ‘rows of single crochet and color changes’. Intarsia crochet is not super difficult and works up fairly quickly. There are quite a few good videos on youtube for intarsia crochet available, should you want to view them.

Pattern includes instruction and tips for how to do intarsia crochet, specific instructions for THIS particular pattern and a colored graph. “I Love This Yarn” brand yarn was used for this pattern, however any medium weight (#4) worsted weight yarn with comparable colors can be used. Front of the pillow has the artwork design, the back is plain forest green.
