Ju is the tenth day of the 2017 Advent calendar: twenty-four patterns, one a day, to learn to count in Chinese.

It is written 十: just two strokes, one lying down, the other standing up, crossing at their middle.

On the back of the hand, the ribs cross too: two cables in the 1/1 rib, turning to the right on one mitt, to the left on the other. A pair of long mitts knitted in the round in one ball of De Rerum Natura “Gilliatt”, the thumb growing from a reverse stockinette gusset.

Ju est le dixième jour du calendrier de l’Avent 2017 : vingt-quatre modèles, un par jour, pour apprendre à compter en chinois.

Il s’écrit 十 : deux traits seulement, l’un couché, l’autre debout, qui se croisent en leur milieu.

Sur le dos de la main aussi, les côtes se croisent : deux torsades dans les côtes 1/1, tournées vers la droite sur une mitaine, vers la gauche sur l’autre. Une paire de mitaines longues, tricotées en rond dans une pelote de De Rerum Natura « Gilliatt », le pouce né d’un gousset en jersey envers.
