Jura is an oversized full length cardigan with extra long sleeves and patch pockets to keep you warm during the cold months. The cardigan is knitted seamlessly top down with dropped shoulder construction. Provisional cast on is used for the collar pieces and stitches are picked up from it. The pattern has one size only, but it can easily be modified to meet your own size and desired length.

Yarn:

The sweater is knitted holding two strands together, one bulky and one fingering weight. You need approximately 9 skeins of any bulky wt yarn 140 m/153 yds per 50 g and 6 skeins of any fingering wt yarn 210 m/230 yds per 50g.

The sample jumper used 9 skeins of Drops Melody, 140 m/50 g and 6 skeins of Drops Flora 210 m/50g.

Notions:

8.00 mm/ US 11 100 cm/ 40” or longer circular needle
Stitch markers and tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Gauge:

12 sts x 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm/ 4” x 4” in stockinette stitch after light blocking.
