Kafa Kerchief is made with two colors and begins at the narrow tip. It grows into an asymmetrical richly-textured accent piece which is easy to make as small or large as you wish.

The kerchief consists of three sections. The first section is worked in one color and uses only simple sc sts to create horizontal ribbing.

The second section is worked with both colors to create a fun-to-make colorful zig-zag pattern. This section also includes a great tip for carrying both colors up the side neatly so you can avoid fastening off!

The one-color third section adds even more texture by using post sts to create a vertical rib pattern.

A delicate and eye-catching scalloped edging embellishes the shortest side.

You can make your kerchief larger by working more rows within each of the three sections and customize the size of each section as desired (helpful notes are included in the written instructions). Bear in mind that in this case your yardage requirements and finished dimensions will change.
