This beanie was designed to support Growing Local Northmavine, a local project to me in Shetland which aims to support both local groups and individuals to grow their own local produce thus reducing food miles and promoting wellbeing.
The design was based on the logo of the former Shetland Kale Growers Network (now incorporated within Growing Local) and colours were inspired by the colours of the kale I have growing in my garden! Wearing a beanie in the garden is often a must here!
All profits from selling this pattern will go towards supporting Growing Local Northmavine.
