The Kate Scarf is suitable for a confident beginner. You will need to know the following stitches / skills to be able to work this pattern:

  • chain
  • double crochet
  • front post double crochet
  • back post double crochet

The pattern also contains video tutorials to all of the special stitches and we have a YouTube tutorial that goes through how to make this pattern from start to finish which you can find on our YouTube Channel. Most of our video tutorials have both right and left handed versions!

This is a 2 row repeat pattern that works up really quickly and looks fantastic! Stitch multiple is included so you can adapt the pattern to suit any yarn type very easily and use an appropriate sized hook.

Easily adapted for width and length. Mine worked out at just over 7.5” wide by 70” long. This pattern is worked on the short side.

The matching hat is available.
