You’ll need ww yarn with a 4mm hook, and either embroidery thread (use 3 strands at once) or crochet thread (size 3) with a steel hook in 6 or 8. It’s not too important exactly WHAT size you use for the lace, just make sure the yarn and hook are both very small! I also recommend having your favorite size coffee cup on hand.

The finished product should fit standard S-L paper cups as long as you keep your tension on the loose side. If you have tight tension it won’t stretch very much.
