Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen First of Her Name, The Unburnt, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Queen of Meereen, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Protector of the Realm, Lady Regnant of the Seven Kingdoms, Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons.

Despite her lengthy titles even Daenerys is only human. She must get cold feet riding her dragons, so I designed her this pair of dragon scale socks to help make those long journeys through the sky a bit more comfortable. These socks are knit top down and feature a strong heel which allows the pattern to continue uninterrupted down the heel. You increase on both sides of the back of the leg whilst continuing the pattern and incorporating the new stitches whenever possible. When the back of the leg has almost doubled in size you turn the heel and decrease back to the original stitch number. The heel starts out narrow and then gradually widens which allows it to fit many different foot shapes.

Pattern is available in size extra small (56 stitch cast on), small (60 stitch cast on), medium (64 stitch cast on), large (68 stitch cast on) and extra large (72 stitch cast on).

Gauge is 9 stitches per inch and 11 rows per inch in stockinette.
