This little sweater is knit in the 4 directions of the compass. It’s in one piece throughout, so no sewing. Begin knitting the neckband in the round. Then work working from the stitches on the neckband, knit one saddle shoulder flat, knit the second saddle shoulder flat. Pick up across the edge of the saddle shoulder, back of neck and second saddle and knit the Back flat. Do the same for the front. Join in the round and work the body down to the bottom and pick up around the armhole and knit the sleeves in the round. It’s easier than it sounds and there is no sewing at the end. Bonus.
