When snow is falling and holiday lights are illuminating the streets, it’s too pretty to stay inside! But, the weather is going down and nothing but the king of heat will keep you warm and cozy under the heaviest snow storm.

King Cowl is a bold cabled accessory made with with bulky yarn. The cables on this cowl are reversible so you can wear it inside-out or upside-down or even leave it open as a big scarf or wrap.

Both charted and written instructions are provided.

Three sizes are provided:
Cowl: 16.5” wide x 12” long (folded in half)
Infinity Scarf: 11” wide x 24” long (folded in half)
Wrap: 11” wide x 70” long

Gauge is not critical.

Difficulty: Advanced or motivated beginner.
This pattern is a good introduction to cables although it can be tricky to knit the very large cables.

Note: Some testers found the chart confusing because of the garter stitch parts. We think that there are no mistakes but please be careful when reading it. Chart symbols represent the knitting as viewed from the right side. The (purl) symbol means to knit the stitch when working on the wrong side of the work.
