Kinos-cowl is a fast knit, perfect to use up those left overs, stray balls and skeins that we all have lurking in the corners of our stash nagging us to do something with them.

The pattern has both written and charted instructions and comes in three different weights, DK, worsted and bulky.

SIZE:

Suitable for teens and adults, the model is 12-years old.

YARN:

DK wt:

100 g of DK wt yarn, 100 m/ 109 yds per 50 g.
The samples were knitted with Madelitosh DK (purple-red) and Drops Lima (Petrol).

Worsted wt:

100 g of worsted weight yarn 90 m/ 98.5 yds per 50 g. The samples were knitted with Malabrigo Worsted (pink) and Cascade Ecological Wool (light beige).

Bulky wt:

110-120 g of bulky weight yarn 115 m/ 126 yds per 100g.
The white sample was knitted with Rowan Cocoon.
The orange sample was knitted with four strands of yarn held together, one strand of both fingering and cobweb weight and two strands of lace wt Kid Mohair.

Approximate amounts used:
Fingering 35-40g, lace (kid mohair, held double) 35-40 g and cobweb 10-15g.

Yarns used for the orange sample: Garnstudio DROPS Flora, 210 m/230 yds per 50g, Filatura di Crosa Centolavaggi, 1400 m/1531 yds per 100g and BC Garn Kid Mohair Multicolor 225 m/246 yds per 25g.
