Kinsman will add style, color, and warmth to your autumn wardrobe. Simple lace worked every round creates structural scallops which are both decorative and cozy.

Construction notes
Shown in size small on 15”/38 cm calf - this boot topper is designed to be worn with 3”/7.5 cm positive or negative ease. Because of the nature of ribbing and lace these toppers are very stretchy. The measurements given are an average of the ribbing when allowed to relax and when fully stretched. This is why a 6”/15.25 cm range for each size is built into the suggested fit.

Modification suggestion: If longer toppers are desired simply add an extra garter stitch ridge to each garter section and an extra round of lace to each lace section. Scale up as desired. You may also wish to knit extra ribbing for a cozier fit.

Notions
marker for end of round
tapestery needle to weave in ends
