Inspired by the narrow winding track of Kirkstone Pass in the Lake District, this pretty cowl is a pleasure to knit and beautiful in its stunning completeness. Everyone has stopped to remark on it when passing through my studio and I enjoyed making it so much that I immediately cast on a second one when it was finished (because it had caught somebody special’s eye and I thought I’d show her (again!) how much I love her). It is quick and pleasingly uncomplicated to make and perfect for using up those part balls of yarn which we all keep hold of or for showcasing a special skein of yarn.
