ARGOS PANOPTES was a mythological, hundred-eyed giant. When Argos was slain, Hera immortalized him by placing his hundred eyes on the tail of her sacred peacock. Here, Argos comprises two cowls in one! Actually, there are two, individual cowls knitted here: one is a solid stockinette, in-the-round cowl, and its mate is an easy-to-knit colorwork designed cowl that has a button closure. The closure allows it to link through the solid cowl before buttoning to be worn as a couple. Or, unbutton, detach, and wear them separately. Either way, knitted with Inji Kismet Fibers Shukumei Merino/silk blend makes these luxuriously soft, warm, drapey. Wonderful accessories for dressing up or dressing casually
