This quick and fun to make crochet pattern is suitable for a beginner with some crochet experience, I have included lots of photos and video to help you along the way.
Pattern is written in US crochet terms.
You will need:
6.5 mm crochet hook, yarn needle, stitch marker, scissors, chunky/bulky yarn.
I used Deramores STUDIO Anti-Pilling Chunky: approximately 50 g (45 m) fir and spice colour each, couple
of meters of ebony and frost colour. You can substitute this yarn and use DK or aran/worsted doubled
up if you haven’t got chunky/bulky yarn, the size of your bag might be different.
My tension is 7 rows/ 6 stitches = 5 x 5 cm. However, this is not hugely important as depending on
your tension, you will get either a slightly smaller or larger bag.
Finished bag will be approximately 20 cm across, the length of the strap about 70 cm.
This pattern is also suitable when crocheting left-handed.
This pattern requires basic knowledge of crochet stitches:
Magic ring, slip stitch, chain, single crochet, how to do a colour change and crochet in continuous circle.
