Errata: there is no information in the pattern how to work the double YO´s in chart 1 on the back side. I prefer to work (purl, knit) or (knit, purl) into a double YO but it is also possible to work a (purl, purl through the back loop). As it makes not a big difference for the look on the front side just do it as it is most comfortable for you!

This is a triangle shaped shawl, worked top down. It’s named after the – mirrored – name of the yarn used for the first sample.

The first sample was knitted from Yaksilk by wollerey and I wanted to use up as much as possible from my precious skein. Well, it worked. A few stitches ahead the end of the last wrong side row I ran out of yarn and had to bind off with another yarn. To set an accent I used a brighter shade. (More information here)
The second, adapted sample was knitted from my own handspun yarn and again I wanted to have nothing left. The story is the same and I used a leftover to finish the last wrong side row and bind off. (More information here)

Now its on you to decide if you are adventurous or if you will buy 2 skeins to be sure to be able to finish your shawl with only one yarn. Or to use up a leftover (about 25g will make the first part)…

It is possible to change the size of Kliskay, how to do is mentioned in the instructions. Please be aware that the needed amount of yarn will increase, too.
