This was a Mystery Knit-A-Long that ran from May 1 - 31, 2018.

Let’s take a break from the craziness of life this month by taking care of ourselves & focusing on getting better sleep through turning off the screens and knitting at night instead!

This Mystery Knit features cozy stitch patterns selected to make you focus just a bit when you’re first starting, but that you can relax into as the patterning becomes familiar. You will be making a rectangular(-ish) wrap that has two possible edgings. Clues will be released each Tuesday during the month of May 2018 so there will be 5 clues in all.

Join other knitters in the Yumi Yarns group for some chatter, pictures and give-a-ways!

Color Selection:
For your colors, you can choose any skeins that make you happy & that you enjoy together. 2 colors are used on each clue & I would recommend not using skeins that are intensely variegated. Skeins with subtle variegations (like Malabrigo), speckles, tonals and fades will be perfect. Individual skeins that contrast with each other will give you more of a Westknits look while skeins that complement each other will create a more subtle, flowing effect.

Approx 400 yds (365 meters) each of Colors 1, 2 & 3 in a fingering-weight yarn - 1200 yds (1097 m) total

Sample Used:
1 skein each of Wee Chickadee Woolery’s colorways:

Pattern Errata:
Unfortunately, even though every precaution has been taken to prevent it, there has been an error found in Clue 1.

In Row 7a of the 2-Color Brioche Rib Decreases section it says, “rep from * to last 7 sts”. It should say “rep from * to last 6 sts”.
