A simple 2 color brioche cowl pattern. If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to work in brioche this is a great beginner project.

There is a full video tutorial for it here Which is the best way to learn if you’re new to brioche.

Materials

  • US Size 6 (4.0 mm) circular needles (16”)
  • 55 yards of DK (#3) weight yarn in each color
  • I used Featherfin yarn Cashmerino in Pine & Pale Pistachio
  • Yarn Needle Stitch Marker

Blocked Gauge
13.5 sts / 27 rows = 4”

Note: Row gauge for this project is measured by counting the vertical column of V’s of each color. So 2 worked rows = 1 gauge row.
Row gauge is not as important as stitch gauge.

Measurements (one size)

  • 26” around

  • 12.5” tall
