Construction:
You will alternate lace and garter sections to form the body. The capelete is worked top to bottom with elongated fronts that are shaped via short rows.

Yarn: Les Belles Bouclettes Amelia; Sport; 60% Mohair Goat/40% merino wool; 250yds/229m; 100g.
You will need 3 skeins for size 1 and 4 skeins for size 2
If substituting yarn, make sure you pick the yarn that is not bouncy and opens up nicely after blocking. Your blocked material should have a “starchy” feeling.
Sizes: Size 1 and Size 2. Size 1 is to fit a range of the standard bust measurements of 28-38”/71 – 96.5cm and Size 2 is 40-46”/101.5 – 117cm.
Needles: US4 (3.25)mm circular needles 24”/61cm minimum.
OR a needle size that will give you the correct gauge. Gauge:16sts x 22 rows in st st and 19sts x 32 rows in garter st = 4”/10cm.
Button: 1 button Size: 23mm/7/8”
