Lacy Day is knit bottom-up and joined in the round at the underarm for a nearly seamless finish. The classic yoke is created through a series simple decrease rows with added short-rows for a comfortable and flattering fit. Three-quarter length sleeves will keep you warm without being cumbersome and show off beautiful arms and hands, and an a-symmetrical body hem (longer in back), makes for an elongated look (and a practical fit!). The simple lace trim knits right into the pattern from the get-go.

Knit in worsted weight yarn for the body, this lovely and delicate sweater will fall off your needles. I love that this sweater is so comfortably functional, and yet so quietly beautiful.

There is also a matching baby/children’s pattern and fingerless mitts for those of you who can’t resist a matching set.
