A lovely, lacy shawlette, Lady of Cythera, is both graceful as a swan and as tempting as a pomegranate. Crescent shaped, made with or without beads, Lady of Cythera is versatile and may be worn as a shawl or scarf.

Pattern includes a tutorial for the crochet eyelet cast-on, and features both written and charted instructions for the Estonian-inspired lace and includes three edge options (plain, eyelet, and beaded eyelet). Beaded eyelet shown. Here are links for adding beads using Superfloss or crochet hook.

Blocked Dimensions:
20” deep at center, 11” deep at edges x 60” across circle
with edges held: 72” wide (at top edge) x 16” deep

Yarn Requirements:
500 m lace weight yarn (purchase extra just in case)

Needles:
US 4 (3.5mm) straight or circular needles (use size needed to obtain gauge)
US F crochet hook used for eyelet edge cast on and picot bind off.
