Lakeside Fingerless Gloves
These beautiful fingerless gloves are super easy, whether you are a beginner or an advanced knitter. The top of the gloves have a nice purled decorative edge, and the bottom has a nice long 2 by 2 ribbing. They are worked bottom up in the round.
The gloves are made out of Drops Nepal in the color Olive, which is a worsted/aran weight yarn and it is 65% wool, and 35% alpaca.
Note: the gloves’ gauge may seem tight to you, and that is on purpose. Double warmth!
Imagine walking near a frozen lake on a cold winter day. The cardinals are singing, and everything is starting to melt. You smile and are happy that your hands are warm.
The size measurements are: 7 1/2 inches around the palm, not including the thumb, and 5 1/2 inches tall from wrist to the start of your fingers.
You will need 80-100 yards of worsted/aran weight yarn.
Gauge: 5 1/2 sts and 6 rounds over 1 inch in stockinette stitch with size 6 US circular knitting needles.
