Larsdatter Mittens

These rosemaling-inspired mittens are being launched just in time for The Wooly Thistle Mitten KAL 2019. Larsdatter mittens have a date on one mitten and initials on the other. You can customize your mittens with an anniversary date, a birth date, or just the year the mittens were made. The other mitten may have the initials of a couple, or a word, or a year that matches the other mitten.

Larsdatter Mittens have traditional Scandivavian construction with a gusset for the thumb and a Latvian braid.

If you love this pattern, these mittens are a variation of a motif from my Larsdatter Yoke Sweater.

The gauge dictates the size of these mittens.
