This beautiful scarf is done in linked treble stitches (LTR).
LTR stitches are giving more solid crochet fabric look, without extra holes, which makes the scarflette warmer. If this is hard to do it, you may replace them with DC stitches. Floral appliqués may be crochet in same yarn, or use scraps of yarn for multicolor creation. Beads will finish romantic look of this piece, but is definitely your choice.
