This shawl design (one of my top 10 most popular), in large part, came to me originally in the summer of 2012. When I sketched it, the gently increasing and decreasing bottom edge seemed to mimic a boat bottom – hence the name.

I have created a second sample with updated fiber (and yes, it’s my own hand-dyed yarn!), since one of the original fibers used is no longer manufactured. As you can see, this design is a perfect canvas for highly variegated yarn. Please craft accordingly. :smile:
