This beautifully textured cowl and matching fingerless gloves will keep you warm this winter or make a great gift. It’s quick and easy to make and best of all you can even use up yarn scraps to make it really colourful.

The cowl pattern is worked by starting at the top and working your way down to the leaves that will sit on the shoulders and round the chest. I have designed a pair of matching fingerless gloves that work in the same pattern as the cowl to make a classic winter set.

The pattern is easy enough to work in the adult size given or to increase/decrease the size by adjusting the starting chain. Gauge has been stated at the beginning of this project.

There is a photo tutorial to guide you through the pattern.

All my patterns are written in US terms and have a conversion chart to UK terms at the beginning in the pattern notes. My patterns are tested by others before publishing them on Ravelry but some errors may still occur.
