This hat is all about the colour mix with flecks here & there. I find it interesting to watch the colours in the linen stitch develop as you knit along. Brimmed with a pompom (or not), or the slouchy version. If you don’t attach a pompom, the hat is completely reversible (look at the finishing instructions in the pattern).
This yarn is a chainette and therefore has stretch when the hat is completed. Most linen stitch items have very little stretch. Keep this in mind if switching yarns for the pattern.
