Super Bulky Cowl and Fingerless Mitts
This is a pattern I use for my beginning knitting students. It consists of two projects, a cold and fingerless mitts. The class is designed to teach the cast on, bind off, knit and purl stitches. There projects are good practice for those just learning the basics of knitting.

Materials
Approximately 128 yards of Super Bulky Weight yarn for the cowl and pair of fingerless mitts. Pictured is Encore Mega, 64 yards/skein. 1 skein used for the cowl. 1 skein used for the pair of mitts.
Size 15 knitting needles. Yarn needle.
Cowl is approximately 6” deep x 26” in circumference
