In my experience, if you want to make perfect socks for a man to put on when he gets home with cold or wet feet, colourwork in light sporting weight yarn is it!

Fredrik Socks are modern ankle socks inspired by the Selbu tradition, featuring one classical rose motif on top of each foot. They are knitted top-down with a plain rib cuff and reinforced heel.

The design is described and charted in two sizes: S/M and M/L and the sample socks fit shoe sizes 9 and 12,5 respectively (EUR 43 and 46). The length of the sock may be adjusted for an exact fit.

For the sample sock pair in S/M I used 58g of main colour and 26 g of contrast colour.
