The Lily headband is a stylish head wrap made to cover your ears for warmth. With the garter stitch and mock cable detail, it is a beautiful, textured accessory!

Difficulty Level: Easy

Finished Measurements: About 4 3/4 inches wide x 18 inches circumference. This will fit a range of sizes from about 20 to 24 inches head circumference. If you want to make this to fit someone smaller, make the headband about 4 to 6 inches smaller in length before seaming than the desired head circumference.

Yarn: Ancient Arts Yarn DK Superwash (100% Superwash Extra Fine Merino; 220 yds; 100 g; yarn weight category: 3/Light/DK): 1 skein Scottish Mist.

Knitting Needles: US Size 6 (4 mm) knitting needles, or size needed to obtain gauge. Headband is knit flat, so you can use straight needles if you like.

Notions: Tapestry needle.

Gauge: 24 sts x 36 rows = About 4 inches in garter st.
