The pattern can be purchased alone or part of an ebook. Taste the Yarn! ebook was born out of an idea that a hat is really just a large swatch. With all these beautiful yarns released lately, I have been tempted to try them all, and a one skein project is a best way to do that! The ebook will be a continuous effort and the price will be going up 1 dollar as the patterns are added.

Lines and Triangles is a modern and simple hat combining one row stripes and easy colowork for a striking effect. The sample is worked in Brooklyn Tweed Loft yarn which lends its rustic tweed appearance to the final product but it looks equally gorgeous in handdyed or self repeating yarns. Just check out my testers projects here!

If you have never tried your hand in colorwork, this would be the perfect little project to dip your toes in! But don’t blame me if you turn into a colorwork addict:)
