Lisa is a 1960s inspired knit. It’s about capturing the essence of childhood and reflecting a child’s experience of that era.

Knit top-down and seamlessly, Lisa is a super fun dress to knit and wear. Back and front are knit separately before joining under the arms, with German Short rows used to shape the shoulders. In line with the shorter hemlines of the 60s, this dress is mini length; the perfect length for our modern lasses to wear over jeans or leggings. The modified Old Shale Lace hemline is reminiscent of the contrasting embroidered hemline detail so popular in the era. The lace hemline has chart and written instructions.

Jumper flap and neckties are knit onto the dress upon completion.
