The Cardigan is knitted in the flat/in rows from the bottom up in one piece to the armholes. The sleeves are likewise knitted bottom up in the flat to the armholes. Then the sleeves and the body are joined and worked with Raglan decreases. At the same time the collar is shaped by making new stitches along the inside of the front rib band. The neck is finished by knitting the left and right side of the collar separately and then joining them in the mid back with 1 x 1 rib grafting (kitchener). The sleeves are seamed with mattress or back stitch from the cuff to the armhole. Armholes are then likewise seamed. The collar does not need to be seamed as it is successively joined to the neck opening by way of ssk and k2tog.
All the steps are provided in written instructions - links to video tutorials are provided throughout; they are useful if you need to brush up on some skills or learn some new skills. I have included a schematic and written instructions to aid in assembling the pieces before the raglan decreases start.

The pattern is for a knitter with intermediate skills.

I did not use 4 full skeins of each yarn - you will have some yarn left over.

This combination of yarn creates a very interesting texture and a very light weight fabric. A good cardigan for transitional seasons.
