A sweet, adorable and romantic poncho with a lacy and frilly feel that is topped off with a shabby chic silk ribbon, I- cord or a bunch of contrasting yarns.

Knitted in a variety of stitches, from eyelets, slanting increases to a gorgeous Horseshoe Lace border. Perfect to make any Little Miss feel special!

Sizes: Small (6 yrs) / Medium (10 years) / Large (14 years).

Circumference neck -10/ 11/ 12”, body -21/ 24/ 30”, height -12.5/ 13/ 16”.

Yarn:
220/ 250/ 335 yards of worsted weight yarn.
You could also knit this poncho in a lighter weight yarn like a DK, sport, fingering weight, which would be more airy and open. Your needle size could also be adjusted in which case you might opt for the larger size to knit.

Notions:
US size 10 (6mm) needle 24” in length, or any size needed to obtain gauge.
US size 10 (6mm) double pointed needles (or magic loop method can be used).
6 stitch markers, 1 different colored to mark beginning of round.
Ribbon 3/4” in thickness, or alternatively you could use 5 to 7 strands of yarn of various weights, colors and textures, or even an I-cord, to be woven through the eyelets at the neck.
