This is a chart pattern. The blank squares are single crochet, and the filled in squares are a bobble stitch.

I started with a chain of 136 then single crocheted back across making 135 stitches.

I did 4 single crochet rows on the top and bottom before starting the bobble stitch rows, I also did 4 single crochet on each edge before the first/last bobble stitch of each row. You can make your project wider by doing more single crochet before the first/last bobble stitches of each row.
Graph should be read starting at the bottom right and working left across for each row.

How to Crochet the Bobble Stitch: To bobble with double crochet’s - Yarn Over (YO), insert hook in stitch, YO, pull up a loop, YO, pull through two loops, REAPEAT this in the SAME stitch until you have 5 loops on your hook, YO, and draw through all loops on hook.

(bobble stitch will push out of the “back side” of the project as you work the row. When the blanket is flipped to the right side it will read the words correctly)
