✿ No drama llama here

Just pure llama cuteness. Until my husband helps me lobby to change the neighborhood rules, this will be the only llama at my house.

It’s adorable for collecting eggs or as a storage basket for toys. Easter baskets don’t get any cuter, and the unique construction creates sturdy sides to make egg hunting a success.

✨ What makes it work

  • Sturdy sides. Plastic canvas inside keeps the basket standing tall.
  • Full of personality. A llama head, legs, and handle make it a showpiece.
  • Beyond Easter. Use it for toy storage all year.

✂️ What you’ll need

  • Yarn: I Love This Cotton (worsted weight cotton), approx. 500 yds. Shown in Ivory, Antique Cream, Pink, Amethyst, Buttercup, Mint, Black, and White Sparkle (A, 2 skeins), Brights (B), Pink (C), Curry (D).
  • Love a swap? Cotton Supreme, Universal Yarn · Kitchen Cotton, Lion Brand · Dishie, WeCrochet · Original Cotton Time, Schachenmayr · Peaches & Creme · Cotton DK, Debbie Bliss
  • Hooks: H (5.0mm) · F (3.75mm) for the ears
  • Tools: Yarn Needle · Fiberfill
  • To finish like the sample: Black Safety Eyes (0.35 in) · Plastic canvas 9.5 in circle (7 mesh) · Plastic canvas 13 x 22 in (7 mesh), or 2 smaller 10 x 13 in pieces
