Lord Grey Plaited Cowl
This cowl has been created from the inspiration of the yarn I have used.
The English Officers during the time of Culloden and just after had the colours of this yarn in their uniforms.
From the Outlander story, I wanted to mark the friendship and honour of words spoken between William John Grey and Jamie Fraser, and the construction of this cowl being plaited, plays into this as words, honour, and life are wound around each other in the stitches that make this cowl.
It’s been inspired by my love of Outlander and the Scottish Highlands.
