This is a large shawl which uses a modified version of filet crochet technique. It features Native American motifs from my own ‘lost history’. I was adopted at birth and only recently discovered my Choctaw ancestry. The design of this shawl was part of reclaiming my own heritage and history. The pattern is not suitable for yarns other than fingering weight and is an intermediate skill pattern.
