The delicate textured motif is created with combing twisted stitches and lace. It adds dimension that looks complex, although, it’s simple enough for an adventurous first time lace project. Are you ready to try lace?!

Luna Vine was designed from my desire to knit everyday wearable lace. One skein of your favourite fingering yarn, knits a double loop, half a skein for single loop. The joy of provisional cast on, allow you to use the most of your yarn or knit to your desired length. It’s knit sideways, with a very soft picot edging, adding elegance to your everyday wear.

Finished Measurements:
Unblocked: Single Loop: 19”x 9” /48 x 23 cm
Double Loop: 45” x 9” /114 x 23 cm
Blocked
Single Loop: 25”/ 63.5 cm x 12” /30.5 cm
Double Loop- 62” x 12 “/ 157 cm x 30.5 cm

Yarn: Approximately 200 (463) yards / 183 (423) m fingering Weight yarn. Sample used 1 skein of Luna Grey Athena Sock, in Cinnamon.

Notes: Cinnamon Cowl was aggressively blocked, but picots were not.
Blue sample cowl was made in RedSockBlueSock and aggressively blocked. All picots were individually blocked. Skein produced 21 repeats
