D is for Donkey and D is for Daffodil which gives you Daffodil Donkey!

I am so excited to announce the launch of my very first Alphabet Animal Amigurumi Maddy Doll Crochet design – wow what a mouthful LOL.

Daffodil Donkey is a full amigurumi crochet pattern, put together as you go along and worked from the feet up, with little sewing (I can hear all the YAY’s).

Amigurumi is essentially the same as “normal” crochet but refers to the process of making 3D toys. It involves working in the round, making spheres which are then stuffed to form the head, body and limbs of adorable little animals and dolls – and in this case, the cutest little dancing Donkey.

Her pattern includes:

She is about 41 cm (16 inches) tall, made using 4 Ply Sport yarn and a 2.5 mm hook.
