Inspired by those beautiful Islands on the Atlantic Ocean across the coast

of Quebec Province in beautiful Canada.

CONSTRUCTION NOTES
Madeleine Islands Shawl is a rectangular shawl full of beautiful lace textures that mimics seashells and the movement of the Ocean and sand. The details of the shawl beautifully showcase hand dyed colourways. The pattern is written for 5 colours, but you can knit it using a fade kit, you can use less colours or even using just one colour. If you are using multiple colours, I recommend for colour C and D to use similar colours, so they will fade beautifully. For the tassels you can use the yarn you used for the broderie or a different yarn.
The Madeleine Islands Shawl is perfect for those single skeins you probably have in your stash!

The pattern has video tutorials that I hope they help you if you have any doubt.<3

Colour E - San Tokki (brown/purple/gray/orange) La Bien Aimee, Merino Singles (100% superwash merino)

NOTE: I suggest you C and D should be pretty similar, like a fade, they will fade at the center of the shawl, or you can use only 1 colour for yarn C and D.

IMPORTANT: Make sure your yarn is the same weight as the pattern. If your yarn is plumper, it might not pass through the hole of the bead the pattern calls for.
