Approximately 1200 yds/1097 m of Aran weight yarn.

4 skeins of Primrose Yarn Co. Grange Aran (100% Superwash Merino, 300 yds/274 m in 250 gr); color Lantern

Needles
Size US 8/5mm and US 7/4.5 mm circular needles 32”/80 cm long, or size to obtain gauge.
Optional: spare US 7/4.5 mm circular needles 32”/80 cm long.
While gauge is not critical for this project, but the different gauge can affect the size and overall yardage.

Notions
Stitch markers, cable needle, tapestry needle.

Gauge
22 stitches and 23 rows = 4”/10 cm on size US 8/5 mm needle in charted pattern or k2, p2 rib, after blocking.

Notes
• The wrap is knitted in rows from one narrow edge to the other.
• Read RS (odd-numbered) chart rows from right to left; read WS (even-numbered) chart rows from left to right.
• Slip stitches with yarn in front.
• The circular needle is used to accommodate a large number of stitches.

Difficulty: Intermediate. The stitch pattern is charted and written.
