A combination of horizontal and vertical stranded techniques is an easy way to add a pop of colour to cozy ribbed socks - no intarsia or duplicate stitch required. Choose one of five provided charts or create your own.

You’ll want to have a 100 g skein of your main colour as well as 8-10 g of your contrast colour on hand.

The pattern assumes familiarity with regular stranded colourwork and basic cuff-down sock construction techniques. The colourwork section is provided only in charted form.

Three sizes are included:
Small (60 stitches)
Medium (66 stitches)
Large (72 stitches)

Because they are mostly ribbing these socks are quite stretchy.

Thanks very much to papermoon2, jensgreycar, Chiromom2, FrauReisende, and my other testers.
