Maura is designed to look like the ever-popular rolled brim hat in knitting, shown here on my hard-working model, Georgette. Although this hat could be worked in hand-knitting (except the optional flower embellishment) pursuant to the pattern, it wouldn’t have the same density provided by the “double thickness” of Tunisian crochet. This project is worked in a wonderful wool blend called Cyochin from Noro. Due to the effects of the yarn, no two projects will be alike. You can make your own one-of-a-kind project with this pattern. The hat has an inner circumference measurement of approximately 23.5” and is intended to have a relaxed fit.
