Maya Blouse
The Maya blouse is a wonderfully soft blouse with set-in sleeves and wide ribbed edges. It is knitted in Fluffy Alpaca Mix and features lots of colorful stripes.
The sweater is worked from the top down. First, the upper back is knitted, followed by the upper front. Then the piece is joined and the body is worked in the round. Back and front begin with short rows to shape the shoulders, and the body is finished with a wide rib edge.
Stitches are picked up for the sleeves, and short rows are used to shape the sleeve cap. Then the sleeve is worked in the round, with decreases along the underside, ending with a wide rib edge. Finally, a narrow ribbed neckline is knitted.
The entire sweater is striped but will also look great in a solid color. We chose the stripe colors completely at random, and the pattern does not include a color sequence chart.
