This crocheted blanket uses the harlequin stitch with minimal color changes. The diamond shaped stitch creates a beautiful texture reminiscent of spring foliage and flower petals. The colors can be easily adapted - a color change to ice blue and white would make a beautiful snowflake inspired blanket!

The pattern includes a short description of the harlequin stitch, as well as resources for more in depth tutorials.

This blanket measures 36 x 52 inches, perfect for a crib blanket, lapghan or couch throw blanket. The pattern also includes stitch counts for adapting to a standard baby blanket size (36 x 42 inches) or throw blanket (50 x 60 inches).
